Chilli Paneer

Ingredients
Batter:
- 2 Tbs cornflour
- 2 tbs flour
- tsp crushed garlic
- tsp crushed ginger
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 5 tbs or so of water
Suace:
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tbs chilli sauce
- 2 tbs tomato ketchup
Main:
- Paneer
- Red onion, peeled and quatered
- 2 or 3 small peppers, roughly chopped
- a red chilli finely sliced
- tsp crushed garlic
- tsp crushed ginger
- stick of celery finely chopped
- Chopped spring onion.
Slurry:
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with water to make a slurry
Method
In a bowl mix the batter ingedients to make a thickish batter.
Cube the paneer and mix it with the batter to coat.
In a wok heat some oil and fry the coated paneer until golden, set aside on some kitchen towel.
Next raise the heat to high and add more oil if needed. Fry the crushed garlic/ginger and celery for a minute or so. Add the chopped chilli and fry for another 3 seconds or so.
Add the veg and fry for another 2 minutes, veg should still be crunchy.
Next, add the sauce, and turn down to medium. Then add the cornstarch slurry and another 2-3 tbs of water. Cook until the sauce is nice and thick.
Add the cooked paneer and stir to coat.
Add a chopped spring onion, and serve.
