Hot and sour soup
- pint chicken stock
- couple chopped chillies
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced
- soy sauce (a few tbs)
- white wine vinegar
- balsamic vinegar
- ground pepper
- tabasco
- mushrooms
- spring onions
- prawns
- pork (Cooked. IIRC I got a 'chunk' from Londis and slow cooked it for a few hours).
- couple tsp cornflower in half a cup water
- 1 egg beaten
- some ginger, sliced
- some carrot sliced
boil chicken stock, soy sauce, tobasco, chillies, salt and garlic, with mushrooms and pork, and then simmer for 5 mins or so
Add the vinegar, pepper and simmer for a bit longer
add the carrot, ginger and sliced spring onions, simmer for another min or so
stir and add the cornflour solution, simmer for a minute
stir and add the egg, simmer for a minute
serve.
